Description
The Santa Cruz Table Lamp started as a collaboration with the same Joshua Tree ceramics studio that makes our Ojai Vase, and it shows. The stoneware base is hand-thrown and finished with a reactive glaze that creates subtle color variations in every piece — no two are exactly alike, and that’s entirely the point. The natural linen shade keeps the light warm and diffused, and the proportions are just right for a nightstand, console table, or the end of a credenza. At 16 inches tall, it’s substantial enough to make a statement but compact enough that it doesn’t overwhelm a surface. The ceramic base has a satisfying heft to it that makes the whole thing feel considered and permanent. If you liked the Ojai Vase, you’ll love having a matching lamp that brings that same handmade warmth to your lighting.

The reactive glaze on the desert clay version is stunning — warm terracotta with these beautiful darker streaks. It matches our Ojai Vase perfectly. The linen shade keeps the light really soft and cozy.

Great lamp with real character. The sage glaze came out a little different than the website photo but honestly I like it better in person. Each one is unique which is part of the appeal.

I have two of these on our nightstands — one in fog and one in desert clay — and they look incredible together. The height is perfect for bedside reading. The ceramic base has a really satisfying weight to it.

Bought this to match my Ojai Vase and the fog glaze is this beautiful soft gray-blue. It’s clearly made by the same people — same quality, same handmade character. The lamp shade is a perfect proportion.

The hand-thrown base makes this feel special in a way that mass-produced lamps never do. You can see the slight irregularities from the wheel and the glaze pooling. It’s functional art.
