The Santa Cruz Table Lamp started as a collaboration with the same Joshua Tree ceramics studio that makes our Ojai Vase, and it shows. The stoneware base is hand-thrown and finished with a reactive glaze that creates subtle color variations in every piece \u2014 no two are exactly alike, and that’s entirely the point. The natural linen shade keeps the light warm and diffused, and the proportions are just right for a nightstand, console table, or the end of a credenza. At 16 inches tall, it’s substantial enough to make a statement but compact enough that it doesn’t overwhelm a surface. The ceramic base has a satisfying heft to it that makes the whole thing feel considered and permanent.
