We’ve been working on the Modesto Credenza for a long time. Like, an embarrassingly long time. But when you’re building a piece of furniture that you want people to hand down to their kids, you don’t cut corners on the timeline.

Today we’re thrilled to officially add the Modesto to the Sellwise collection. It’s a 72-inch credenza with sliding cane-inset doors, adjustable shelving, built-in cable management, and the kind of solid hardwood construction that makes you want to knock on it just to hear how satisfying it sounds.

It’s available in two finishes: a rich, warm Walnut and a lighter, airy White Oak. Both are hand-finished with a natural oil that brings out the character of the wood grain. We spent weeks going back and forth on the finish (our workshop can confirm this) and landed on something that feels lived-in from day one.

The sliding doors were a deliberate choice. They don’t swing out into the room, so the Modesto works in tighter spaces without sacrificing the drama of a full-width credenza. The cane insets add texture and let air circulate if you’re storing electronics inside — which, let’s be honest, most of us are.

It ships fully assembled. No Allen wrenches. No confusing diagrams. Just a beautiful piece of furniture that arrives ready to anchor your room. White glove delivery is available if you’d like someone else to handle the heavy lifting.
